Day two in the old agricultural shed (yes, that’s the venue, or at least it former avatar).
Pete Tong was ‘in the house’ last night to dish out the Mobile Entertainment Forum awards. Digital Chocolate won the mobile games award for its Tower Bloxx game – founder and CEO Tryp Hawkins must’ve been pretty chuffed because he was still carrying the award around this morning. Warner Music won the music award and that snazzy leotard campaign no doubt helped France Telecom, Orange and Warner Music to win the marketing award for Madonna’s Confessions on a Dance Floor album. The others: Chooze Active Content won the mobile content, Bango won mobile services, 3 UK and Yospace won innovation, 3 UK won entertainment operator. Special recognition award went to PacketVideo CEO, president and co-founder Jim Brailean.
