Origami Mobile Phone Display

Origami Mobile Phone DisplayThis is super-cool…one of the problems with content on mobile phones is the small screen size, and solutions have ranged from glasses with displays to cloth screens that roll up and are extended like a projector-screen. This is possibly the best one I’ve seen so far — ” The concept was inspired by the e-paper developed by Mag-Ink and the Popout Map. The map uses origami paper folding technique to expand and collapse automatically as it is opened and closed.”
It’s a flip phone and the screen hides inside when it’s closed. I’m not sure what it’s made of, it would need to be pretty durable, but if it is feasible it would solve a lot of problems. (via Textually)
