The Economic Times: Nokia India doesn’t want to miss out on the football fever that is expected to kick off in the country with the FIFA Worldcup 2006. The company has signed up with Indian football sensation Baichung Bhutia for a promotions campaign. Nokia’s ‘Defend your Turf’ campaign is a five-a-side street football tournament that will be rolled out across Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata and will culminate with the Indian national champions defending their turf against the “Boys from Brazil”, a freestyle street football team.
