Sabeer Bhatia’s Vision For The Nano City In Haryana

Red Herring: In April, Sabeer Bhatia had announced his plans to set up “Nano City” near Gurgaon in Haryana (which is a satellite town of capital Delhi) in partnership with the state government. By the way, the city is not necessarily about nano. It’s a public-private partnership aimed at building a Silicon Valley-type city “where entrepreneurs, technology workers, and venture capitalists co-exist in a bid to spur innovation”.
He says his idea is to make the city achieve the highest per capita income in India. “Once we have achieved this, we will endeavor to make it the highest in Asia, and finally one of the highest in the world”.
