Business Standard: Here is an interview with Paul Johnson, TV division head, MipTV. Run by Reed Midem in Canne, France, Miptv and Mipcom are two of the world’s largest audiovisual and digital congregations. About 25,000 content owners attend it every year.
Johnson says that the number of of Indian content companies participating in Miptv has gone up from 10 three years ago to 40 now and the number is steadily increasing. “Since India is a growing market, the opportunities to grow there are enough for most people. However, if Indian content is looking at going global, this is the time they are really look at international partnerships.” Read more here.
