In keeping with the inability of mobile content companies to keep the same name for more than a year or so, FunMail is changing its moniker to FunMobility. In all fairness though, I’m not sure we’ve ever run a story about FunMail’s e-mail applications, but plenty of stories about their other mobile content…so the name-change is probably a good idea.
“Our name was an artifact of our early days when we offered mobile animated messaging services,” said Adam Lavine, FunMobility CEO. “While we continue to offer those services, our product portfolio has vastly expanded to many new categories, including content, social networking and photo services.”
