Earnings: Rambler’s 2005 Losses Decrease

Rambler Media, one of the biggest Internet and mobile media companies addressing the Russian market (and listed on London’s AIM) has reported lower 2005 losses. It lost $2.4 million in 2005, compared with $4.6 million in 2004. Sales rose 71% to $21.4 million.In the second half of the year, Rambler reported a net profit of $111,000, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million in the previous year.
Rambler Media owns Rambler.ru, a Russian-language Internet portal/search engine; the Rambler TV channel; information website Lenta.ru; ISP Rambler Telecom; advertising agency Index20; and the Rambler Mobile group of mobile technology and content companies.
