Inc., based in Menlo Park, is the leading publisher of mobile content and applications exclusively focused on the women’s market. Our product plan includes entertaining games, compelling content, and lifestyle productivity tools that are designed to make women’s lives easier while on the go.
LimeLife takes a research-driven approach to product development and has conducted proprietary research with women ages 15+ to better understand the experiences they seek in mobile phone applications. Our products are distributed through Verizon, Cingular and Sprint. Our investors include U.S. Venture Partners, Rustic Canyon Partners, i-Hatch Ventures, and Monitor Ventures.
Senior Manager Consumer Marketing:
This role requires an innovative thinker and aggressive marketer who can develop and lead consumer acquisition initiatives in a nascent industry where there are no marketing blueprints. This candidate must also have a passion for staying abreast of industry developments, monitoring consumer adoption trends (from early adopter to early majority), and identifying opportunities for LimeLife to grow a strong and loyal customer base. Candidate must feel very comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment. As part of a small team, there is opportunity for career growth. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.
Consumer Marketing Roles & Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility include the following:
— Design, test and execute online and offline customer acquisition programs for each title launched. Measure and optimize the performance of these marketing programs which will lead to the development of a marketing blueprint by product category. Identify and test emerging channels for our target market.
— For strategic partnerships, work closely with partner marketing teams to design and execute an integrated marketing plan, leveraging LimeLife, partner and carrier channels. Manage ongoing partner relationship.
— Develop strategic promotions across carriers and innovative, word-of-mouth marketing programs.
— Develop product marketing materials for each product.
— Manage the LimeLife website from a content perspective so that it becomes a strong sales tool. Identify and recommend functional enhancements that will support sales goals.
— Consumer Insight: Based on market research and customers acquired, continue to refine our primary target market and messaging to that segment. Monitor and report on consumer adoption trends.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have
— 5+ years of online marketing experience that includes ROI-based consumer acquisition in channels that include:
o Paid Search campaigns
o Online advertising through bounty-based ad networks
o Affiliate programs
o Email campaigns
— Self starter and very entrepreneurial. Has ability to evaluate and leverage new channels such as blogs, podcasting, and community sites to build interest in LimeLife products. Candidate is currently an active contributor and consumer of this content.
— Exposure to or some experience in offline channels and market research a plus..
— Results-oriented and metrics driven. Ability to manage a budget.
— Demonstrated ability to prioritize objectives, manage multiple initiatives and meet aggressive deadlines. Must thrive in highly dynamic industry.
— Highly consumer focused.
— Excellent team and collaboration skills.
— Bachelor degree required
