LimeLife Inc., based in Menlo Park, is the leading publisher of mobile content and applications exclusively focused on the women’s market. Our product plan includes entertaining games, compelling content, and lifestyle productivity tools that are designed to make women’s lives easier while on the go.
LimeLife takes a research-driven approach to product development and has conducted proprietary research with women ages 15+ to better understand the experiences they seek in mobile phone applications. Our products are distributed through Verizon, Cingular and Sprint. Our investors include U.S. Venture Partners, Rustic Canyon Partners, i-Hatch Ventures, and Monitor Ventures.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for increasing revenues directly with wireless carrier customers, developing new carrier accounts and building new direct to consumer sales channel relationships.
Key areas of responsibility include the following:
— Manage relationships with existing carrier channels, including:
o Pitching new products and overall LimeLife roadmap & strategy
o Coordinating with internal production & carrier on product launch
o Optimizing sales on existing products by achieving optimal deck placement, identifying innovative ways to feature LimeLife content, coordinating with marketing on promotions, etc.
o Maintain consistent communication with carrier to understand their needs, strategies, feedback on top selling products & LimeLife products, assistance with programming, and leverage LimeLife value as source of expertise on women’s market
o Track revenue against forecast across portfolio on monthly basis, explain variances and take corrective action where appropriate
— Establish and manage new carrier channel relationships
— Identify and evaluate strategic value of new direct to consumer channels. Close and manage new direct to consumer channels
Qualifications:
— 3-5 years of account management or business development role with revenue responsibility and consultative sales experience.
— Experience in mobile content strongly desired. Experience selling in to carriers preferred. Must have experience in technology, entertainment or on-line sales
— Ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of wireless industry, including devices, data services, mobile content, distribution models, infrastructure and sales channels
— Proven ability to prospect in to and close new business
— Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
— Strong analytical ability to support modeling of revenues and analysis of actual performance against forecast
— Ability to work in a complex, virtual, team environment crossing geographic boundaries,
— Ability to build and execute strategic plans for all accounts in portfolio based on revenue potential and market positioning.
— Excellent interpersonal, verbal (particularly strong in presentation), oral and written communication skills
— BA/BS degree required, MS/MBA preferred
