UK’s Telegraph’s New Design; Pares Down Ad Units

This is becoming somewhat of a trend among online newspaper sites: less (but bigger units) advertising on homepage, cleaner design, larger headline fonts etc. This happened with NYTimes.com and now with UK’s Telegraph website relaunch.
The redesigned site allows for just one MPU online ad format on the homepage, which bosses at the Telegraph Group say will provide greater impact and a higher return on investment for advertisers.
