More consolidation in the in-game advertising sector after Microsoft bought out Massive last week: Double Fusion, the in-game advertising firm, has bought out a smaller rival Eiko Media, which has background in mobile messsaging and prmotions, as well as online.
With headquarters in Detroit, Eiko has worked with the car manufacturers and their agencies to develop in-game integrations into a broad range of game titles…the company also has background in the mobile gaming promotions and placement space.
Eiko Media President and Co-Founder Ashley Swartz, who was an executive with Sony Ericsson prior to founding Eiko Media, will take on the role of Senior Director of Creative Strategy at Double Fusion, and will also look after mobile platforms as well.
