RMG Connect, JWT’s direct marketing arm, is looking to enter the digital space. The route could be through an acquisition. The agency apparently is planning to acquire an interactive or digital agency in India. And it’s in talks with a couple of them.
Paul Davies, president, RMG Connect, Asia Pacific, feels India is moving away from an ‘offline’ driven market to a more digital one. Philip Greenfield, CEO, RMG Connect Worldwide, said, “We plan to double our size the world over. In India, specifically, these acquisitions will help us get the right kind of people on board, who possess the requisite skill sets and expertise to explore the digital space.”
