NBC News already makes the “Nightly News with Brian Williams” and “Meet The Press” available as online VOD. Now one-third of the “Today” show (the first hour) is being posted at MSNBC.com for viewers at 11 a.m. every day to watch whenever, wherever — as long as they do it within a week, the archive time for what NBC News calls “netcasts.”
Fine print: It’s delivered within MSNBC’s small-screen player in seven segments with no apparent option to load the full hour at once. Also, no obvious way for seeing what happens in each segment before watching.
