The Times of India: Indiatimes.com, the horizontal portal from the Times of India Group, is planning a business networking website. “This (business networking) has humungous potential. We are sure our concept will do well,” informs Dinesh Wadhawan, CEO & MD, Times Internet Ltd. So the Times venture will join other business networking sites like OpenBC, LinkedIn, Ryze and Ecademy, which have some users in India.
Sahad adds: I am a member of Ryze’s Bombay Business Club. Even though I hardly use it for networking, I keep getting mails updating on various messages posted by the members of Ryze’s BBC. The service actually seems to be quite a hit with people. The article cites business owners like Mahesh Murthy (CEO of Pinstorm) using the Ryze for business needs like hiring.
