Comverse CEO And Two Top Executives Resign

Comverse has undergone a management shake-up with founder Kobi Alexander stepped down from his roles as chairman and CEO, while David Kreinberg resigned as chief financial officer. William Sorin also resigned from his roles as senior general counsel and corporate secretary. The three former executives are staying on as advisers on an interim basis. It appears to be as a result of some inconsistencies found with stock option filings…”Comverse’s special committee, which was formed in March, found the dates of measurement for some past stock option grants differed from recorded dates of the grants.”
The executives have been replaced by independent director Raz Alon as interim CEO. Avi Aronovitz, vice president of finance and treasurer, was appointed interim CFO, and independent director Ron Hiram assumes the role of non-executive chairman. Paul Robinson, vice president of legal and general counsel, will become executive vice president, chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary.
