Rediff.com: ATI Technologies, designer and manufacturer of 3D graphics and digital media silicon solutions, will invest $ 50 million in research and developement facility in India in the next five years. ATI senior vice president and general manager consumer business unit Adrian Hartog said that its new $15-million facility in Hyderabad is the largest R&D centre outside North America and is currently working on developing chipsets for cell phones, high-definition TVs and set-top boxes.
