UpSNAP Brings Bible Quotes to Mobile Devices

Is it just me, or is this pretty much the exact opposite of what’s needed? “UpSNAP…today announced the launch of a new service that delivers Bible quotes to consumers’ mobile devices. UpSNAP is partnering with Contemporary Christian Music Magazine (CCM) to offer the service, which allows people to receive Bible quotes on their mobile phones by text messaging a Bible verse (example: John 3:15) to UpSNAP’s shortcode 27627 (2SNAP).”
I can’t think of many situations where you’d know the book and verse numbers but not the quote — perhaps if someone offered the citation in an argument and you wanted to make sure they hadn’t taken it out of context. I think it’s a lost opportunity…I think the far more likely scenario is that someone will remember a quote, or part of it, and wish to get the whole thing and the reference. Or perhaps references on a particular topic.
