MyFamily.com, an online network for connecting families on the Web, has bought out social networking technology firm Encounter Technologies as company moves to expand the MyFamily online service…Encounter integrates telephony and web services to enable real-time interaction between users.
Also, some new senior appointments: Michael Graff, a former Microsoft executive has joined MyFamily as a Senior VP and GM of the MyFamily business unit. Also, Encounter Technologies’ founder Hoyt Prisock is now to VP of Strategy and Business Development of the MyFamily web service.
