Infospace has released it’s Q1 earnings, revealing how its mobile division is picking up the slack for its online division. Total revenues increased by $3.3 million to $90.3 million in the first quarter… “Mobile revenues were $44.1 million in the first quarter of 2006, an increase of $5.1 million from the first quarter of 2005. Mobile segment gross profit totaled $18.8 million or 43% of mobile revenue for the first quarter of 2006…Online revenues were $46.1 million in the first quarter of 2006, a decrease of $1.8 million from the first quarter of 2005. Online segment gross profit was $29.9 million or 65% of online revenue for the first quarter of 2006.”
In Q1, Infospace signed deals with Sprint, Verizon and Cingular on various matters. There was a huge drop in net income year-on-year, but that’s due to a couple of one-off events.
