ScreenTonic, a Paris, France-based mobile advertising firm, has raised about $6.8 million in second-round funding. The round was led by 3i Group, and was joined by return backer I-Source Gestion.
The company says it has developed its technology over the last five years, enabling mobile portals to monetise their traffic by displaying ads such as sponsored links, banners and video ads on their mobile website. The company plans to extend its business in all major European countries, including UK, Benelux, Germany and Spain.
