thePlatform: Media Sales Executives (Seattle, NY, LA)

thePlatform is looking for sales professionals to sell digital media solutions into the Enterprise, Media & Entertainment and Finance markets. Criteria for selection include experience, contacts and knowledge in these market areas. Candidates must have a proven ability to sell digital media related solutions, demonstrated by historical performance.
Responsibilities:
Rapidly build a qualified sales pipeline through thePlatform’s existing relationships, existing leads, cold calling, and lead generation efforts
Close agreements to obtain revenue goals
Demonstrate on-line the value of thePlatform’s products and services
Prepare discovery documents, proposals, pricing, and contracts
Work with product management to convey customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction
Desired Experience:
3+ years experience closing contracts in target markets
Experience selling into complex, multi-party organizations at VP and Director decision-makers levels
Demonstrable track record attaining annual quota in solution sales
Knowledge of streaming video, content management, rich-media is crucial
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Experience managing a large prospect base
Experience using sales automation tools
