A new study shows that the use of mobile devices to check email or browse the web is growing worldwide, even outpacing laptops in some areas. The study shows that a big growth area is mobile phone users over the age of 35, something that I have noticed too. It is very common now to see someone at my kid’s sporting events whipping out a BlackBerry or Treo to check email in the stands. The study found that in the US more Americans use laptops than mobile devices for accessing the Internet. Other interesting findings of the study can be found at Yahoo News.
