Australian portal Ninemsn, a joint venture with MSN, has bought a 35 percent of iSelect, a local health insurance comparison site, based on a company valuation of approximately AUS$40 million.
Also, the portal closed its acquisition of mobile content provider HWW, for about AUS$13.9 million. HWW is one of the biggest suppliers of content to operator Hutchison ‘3’ which currently has 140,000 paying subscribers for the guide services.
Earlier last year, Ninemsn acquired mobile marketing solutions business 5th Finger.
