EstatsIndia, a Delhi-based internet market research agency, has done a study on online travel market in India titled – “A Traveler’s Perspective On The Online Travel Market In India 2006.” The first cut of the key findings are here below (a detailed report will be out later this month):
Study Snapshot:
The survey was done in February and March 2006. The geography covered includes all metros and five other cities. Last one year of traveling has been taken as the time frame for this study. Systematic sampling included selection of: Senior company executives, businessmen, leisure travelers and religious travelers.
