Industry Moves: Google Local; Motley Fool; Lime

A few industry moves of note (Updated):
Google Local to Be Lead by Classified Ventures Exec: Sam Sebastian, a longtime veteran of Classified Ventures’ Homescape real estate vertical, has been annointed the new head of Google Local. As Peter says, besides building bridges for Google with newspapers, Sam also poses something of a threat, since he conceivably knows all the details of classified initiatives of all the Classified Ventures’ newspaper owners, which include Tribune, Knight Ridder, Gannett, McClatchy, Belo and The Washington Post Co.
NAA New Media Analysts Moves To Motley Fool: Rob Runett is leaving the NAA’s New Media Federation after eight years. He’s heading to Motley Fool where he’ll be running premium services he will be part of the team that “dreams up the ideas and develops new premium services for the Fool”, as manager of new product development.
Lime takes on TV veteran Saad: Lime, the US cable network and multi-platform lifestyle brand, has signed industry veteran Ted Saad as its new VP of development and programming. Saad is to be responsible for creating and developing programming and talent for the Lime brand across all platforms, including television, broadband,VOD, DVD, satellite radio, podcasting and mobile content.
