Create Your Own Zup

Head ZupThe Seattle Times: Head Zup has been around for a while, and now it appears John Shay (the original product manager for RealAudio who’s behind the company along with his wife Joan) is encouraging people to make their own. “Head Zup lets people make their own video clips by turning a camera phone upside down and taking a short video of their mouth and chin. By not showing the whole face, the creator can stay anonymous. The company even sells $4 kits with plastic eyes and puff-ball hair to turn chins into faces. The video clips are compatible with all 2G and 3G video-camera phones by Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung. They can also be viewed on computers, video iPods and PDAs.” The plan is to syndicate the content to mobile operators who would be hoping it would increase MMS usage…
