That was quick: The BT executive overseeing the UK telecoms company’s move into IPTV and VOD later this year has quit “to pursue other interests.” Andrew Burke, who was named CEO of BT Entertainment when the content division was established in 2004, will leave at the end of April and will not be replaced.
His departure comes at a critical juncture, with the telco aiming for a fall launch of its IPTV service dubbed BT Vision.
