Ad-Supported Mobile Entertainment

Well, this is the topic de jour at this year’s CTIA…and MEF has come out with a study on ad-supported mobile entertainment. According to this MEF mebers study, 81 percent of executives feel advertising is a growth opportunity for the industry, 19% said it was disruptive, while none thought it was a threat that would decrease revenues.
Content provider expect to claim the largest share (42%) of revenues from mobile advertising. Operators are expected to get 27%, according to this study.
