VoIP Startup Jajah Signs Up With Opera, Symbian For Mobile Foray

Jajah, a VoIP startup which recently moved from Luxembourg to California, plans to extend its service to cell phones in May. This announcement comes after it signed exclusive technology agreements with Opera Software and Symbian, which will help the company tap the growing cellphone market. The agreement with Opera will help Jajah’s VoIP service to get integrated into custom versions of Opera Mini, a full web browser designed for Java-enabled mobile phones. Jajah had recently picked up an undisclosed investment from Sequoia Capital. [Via Red Herring]
