Lagardere Merges Global Units Into Cellfish Mobile

Lagardere Active, the mobile content division of France-based Lagardere SCA, one of the largest media companies in the world, will unite its mobile subsidiaries in North America, France and Germany to create a global content, marketing and distribution group called Cellfish Media.
Cellfish’s units worldwide generated 2005 revenues of $116 million, the company said, putting it among the leagues of top mobile content companies…it has 250 employees in the US and Europe (France and Germany) subsidiaries.
Its brands include BarrioMobile, BlingGames and BlingTones. Lagardere Active’s CEO Fabrice Sergent is now Cellfish’s CEO.
