@ CTIA: Mobile ESPN Expands Retail Outlets To Sprint Stores


Better late than never … no understatement to say Mobile ESPN has yet to take off and one of the reasons — among many, including the high entry price for the Sanyo handset — has been the decision to go with Best Buy as the sole launch retail outlet. Adding at least 500 Sprint stores, where the focus is on wireless, should be a boost, although adding at least one handset at $99 or under would make a bigger difference. More on this as sibling Disney Mobile makes a splash today here in Las Vegas with a keynote appearance and a major press push.
