Ad-Supported Mobile Application Network Launched

I’m not sure what to call this… mFoundry has launched a network of ad-supported mobile applications, the idea being that “once consumers download one application, they have access to all other applications in the
mFoundry Mobile Network”.
According to the press release “advertisers benefit by being able to reach target audiences via their mobile devices with highly interactive ad units that give measurable results.”
The network is launching with content from ConsumerSearch, Artist Direct, Global Gaming League and Surfline, amongst others. One of the advertisers will be The Kaufman Media Group, which owns PinPoint Local, PinPoint Interactive Media, iFeed Media and MyOnlineTicketBroker, among others.
It seems like a good idea, mFoundry collecting all the companies using its mWorks to publish mobile content/applications together, giving it a reported aggregate of 40 million web users to tempt the advertisers to the network.
