About this Product Manager role:
The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the results of their product line within our distribution business. This will be a high-profile position, interacting with Oberon’s executive management team as well as large domestic and international partners. As a result, Oberon is seeking a confident candidate who is able to clearly articulate goals to internal teams and partners. High level exposure to partner management or business development is desirable, as is experience with new product development. We are looking for an individual with a good mix of entrepreneurial and big business background. This position reports to the Director of Product Management and will be part of our overall product management team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the plan specific product releases & programs
- Manage business requirements and product design
- Work with Development Teams on implementation of releases
- Coordinate partner requirements and product roadmap with sales and partner
relationship teams
- Work with major partners on customization needs and product rollouts
- Ensure that all internal stakeholders and management are kept up-to-date
- Manage business goals for product line and drive revenue and profitability of mobile
products
Skill Set:
- Understanding of online as well as mobile industries
- Experience plotting strategies, formulating business models, and identifying new
market opportunities
- 5-8 years relevant experience, including background developing and launching a
consumer facing content application (wireless data or internet products) to market.
- MBA is preferred, BS is required.
- Experience working in international markets with distributed development teams
Travel: approximately 5-10% is required.
