“Big Brother” Duo In $43 Million IPO on AIM

MipTV is under way in Cannes (and no, we are not attending, and bummed out by it), and a slew of announcement surrounding it: 2waytraffic, a company created by former Endemol executives responsible for “Big Brother”, are debuting on London alternative market AIM, ina hope to raise about $43 million in IPO, valuing the company at around $172.6 million.

2way has based its business on the development, distribution and exploitation of interactive content by partnering with broadcasters, telecoms service providers and advertisers. Current broadcast clients include SBS6 in the Netherlands, TV Denmark, TV2 in Hungary, PrimaTV in Romania and TVN in Poland.

Last month the company acquired Dutch interactive IPTV-enabled business HIP TV.
