Time Inc. Interactive: Aiden Colie is on board as VP-internet technology, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations that keep the sites functioning and for internet technology strategy. Colie moves over from VP and CTO at Ziff Davis, where he was responsibile for the new content platform, video rollout and the launch of more than 30 web sites.
TII president Ned Desmond’s memo introducing Colie to the staff includes some references to the re-doubling efforts in digital media and Time’s multi-platform strategy.
NBC Universal TV Stations: Thomas Hjelm, most recently creative director for AOL Audience Marketing, has been appointed to the newly created position of senior director, online content — another in a series of recent moves designed to show how serious NBCU is about online across properties and platforms. Hjelm’s responsbility for NBCU’s 14 O-and-O stations centers on development of original online content across programming areas. Turner Broadcasting: Michael Quigley has been appointed executive director-business development, as part of a series of recent changes in the biz dev area. Quigley’s responsible for non-linear platform distribution for Turner’s properties across broadband, interactive TV and wireless. He reports to Bill Stratton, VP-business development.
