MLBAM has licensed exclusive internet and wireless rights for the Korean market to MediaCorp, Inc. through 2008 in a “multi-million dollar” deal. MediaCorp’s rights include:
– an MLB Korean-language site and a “robust” Korean language baseball site;
– live streaming of MLB games via broadband, IPTV, and wireless IP;
– live text-casting through major Korean cariers SKT. TF, LGT;
– VOD of MLB games;
– ecommerce and auction of MLB merchandise;
– wireless access to video and other MLB content;
– daily video clips.
