Here is India’s own “Craigslist” – Localindya.com – at least that what is the CEO of Indore-based IndyaTech Solutions, claims. Ajay Khandelwal, who divides his time between Los Angeles and Indore, has launched the site to cater largely to small towns and other tier two cities like Nashik, Nagpur, Madurai, Ranchi, Indore, and Bhopal – not just the metros. All postings are free, and there are no banner/popup ads, Khandelwal writes to us. I don’t understand the business model, though, maybe it doesn’t have one now.

Talking of classifieds business, here is another auction portal – Priceindia.com.
