Mobile Streams has combined a couple of big trends to create a rap-based mobile reality show based on Houston rappers The G.R.i.T Boys, called Nexxt. There’ll be 52 episodes of 2-3 minutes each, and will follow the rap group over six months to “explore all aspects of their hip hop lifestyle, with the gritty Houston streets serving as a dramatic urban backdrop”. There will also be surprise guest appearences from emerging hip hop artists and some big stars, but there’s no mention of whether The G.R.i.T Boys will be forced to do silly tasks to get points. And of course, exclusive ringtones and wallpaper based on the show will be available.
