RedOctane To Make India’s First PC Game Around A Bollywood Movie

Indiantelevision.com: The Chennai subsidiary of California-based RedOctane Technologies is developing a 3D PC game around a bollywood movie, a first in India. Red Octane is making the game for Celluloid Dreams’ movie Friends Forever, which has a CG character Zampano as its protagonist. Swami Venkat , RedOctane’s VP for India operations, said, “This is the first PC game being developed around a Bollywood movie. It is a fun based game that can be played by people of all age groups and will not have a lot of blood and gore. We are devloping the game while Celluloid Dreams will publish it.” The game will have 7 core levels and will be in three different modes, easy, medium, and hard. Mobile games are also developed around this movie.
Some of the work will be showcased at FICCI-Frames in Mumbai.
