IGA Worldwide and Exit Games have formed a partnership to integrate advertising in mobile games. “Neutron, Exit Games’ leading multi-player solution for mobile phones, will be integrated with IGA Worldwide’s ad-serving platform the Radial Network, to enable advertisers to reach consumers via mobile games…Using Neutron game publishers can create in-game advertising that can be dynamically updated (DIGA) for mobile phone games running Java, BREW or Adobe Flash Lite. By using the Radial Network advertisers will be able to update, change, geo-target and receive detailed reports on their mobile campaigns.”
This sort of thing is a good solution for game developers who want to get some extra revenue without charging their customers more. The important aspect of this particular solution is that it can be updated so if a campaign changes the in-game advertising changes to match…and the geo-targeting will be useful too — no point serving ads for a Los Angeles service to New Yorkers…
