Globalisation Of Bollywood

Rediff.com: Here is a short snapshot on the discussion on bollywood at the recent Asiatic Society conference (Rediff coverage here) held in Mumbai. The theme was Bollywood’s Boom, a Globalization of Culture, and the panelists were Ronnie Screwvala, CEO, UTV Software Communications, Kristin Dornig, CEO, Prana Studios, the Hong Kong-based Michelle Guthrie, CEO, STAR Group, and Smriti Mundhra, the New York-based producer, who runs Drops Entertainment.
Mundhra had released her film Waterborne via Google video, something which I didn’t know. She spoke about the future of individualised, personalised content for the customer and how it could be delivered over broadband. “I think this is going to be the way film distribution will go.
