WestBridge Capital Partners is the most aggressive venture capital fund in India. The Bangalore-based VC fund made several investments in the internet and mobile space recently. It put in $7 million in Times Internet Ltd, $1.5 million in Nazara Technologies (mobile content company), co-invested $10 million in Mauj Telecom, $8 million in Shaadi.com, and $10 million in Travelguru.
ContentSutra talked to Sandeep Singhal, a managing director of WestBridge and a key member in the India team, who joined the VC firm in 2001. (For a detailed profile of Singhal, click here).
