Nano-Pub Venture FM Publishing Receives First Round Funding

John Battelle’s nano-media advertising venture FM Publishing has received its first round of funding. The financing was led by JPMorgan Partners, and included previous seed investors: Omidyar Network, The New York Times, Mitchell Kapor, Andrew Anker, Mike Homer, and Tim O’Reilly.

FM reps independent publishing/blog sites…currently, the sites in FM’s network include BoingBoing.net, Buzzmachine.com, Digg.com, Dooce.com, Fark.com, GigaOm.com and more than 25 others.

FM has also launched its portal site aggregating the blogs in its network, here.
