Telekom Malaysia Plans MVNO In India

Telekom Malaysia, which recently picked up 49 per cent stake in India’s Spice Telecom, is looking at expanding in India through the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) route. However, it will be a long while when it can actually fulfill its ambition. MVNOs, a popular mobile service in the US and in Europe, is yet to be permitted as a telecom service in India.
