Industry Moves: Changes At Turner Sports Interactive Include New SVP; New Product Execs

Not sure how this slipped by but Lenny Daniels is now overseeing Turner Sports Interactive as SVP-sports production and new media, succeeding Drew Reifenberger, who moves to a new project in entertainment. Daniels announced a number of internal changes Tuesday, designed to reflect TSI’s role as the new media arm for all sports at Turner; until now, the emphasis has been on TSI’s production of NASCAR.com and PGA.com. Among the changes:

Phil Sharpe, SVP-technical operations and development; continues to manage PGA.com during a transition.

Scott Bailey, VP/GM-new media business operations; also continues his current responsbilities for NASCAR.com.

Michael Adamson, VP-new media creative and sports new products; responsible for new media look and feel, innovation.

Pete Scott, Executive Interactive Producer-new media content and production; includes creating new content opportunities.

Also, at Turner Broadcasting, two new products VPs were announced Tuesday: Tonia Lee, most recently director of corporate development for The Weather Channel, and David Eckoff, whose move to Turner from Real we reported last month.
