TVEyes.com has launched a video search service that indexes the spoken word in the video and sesarches the results. This differs from Google and Yahoo, which search the descriptions or the caption text attached to a video clip. But TVEyes, which debuted with leading TV networks including FoxNews, CNN, and MSNBC.com, faces competition from Blinkx which uses visual analysis and speech recognition for rich media search.
