Vodafone CEO sees growth left in mobile industry: Operators could get consumers to do more of those activities using mobile devices, he said, adding that the industry was developing devices that could allow calls and messaging, digital cameras, mobile TV and music players. “This is why companies like Vodafone are now increasingly establishing new partnerships with other industry players such as Microsoft and Google, to ensure our customers benefit from the next generation of mobile services,” CEO Arun Sarin said.
Nokia Updates Mobile Blogging App: Mobile bloggers using a new version of Nokia’s Lifeblog software can automatically attach location, time, and relevant calendar information to photos, videos, and audio clips, Nokia said Wednesday. The new software, Lifeblog 2.0, will also allow users to attach audio clips to their blogs.
T-Mobile First to Launch Branded Opera Mini: T-Mobile International is the first operator to offer a branded version of the Opera Mini Web browser…Starting this month T-Mobile will offer three phones that include Opera Mini: the Sony Ericsson K608i, Motorola V3/V3i, and Nokia 6280. T-Mobile is expected to start selling additional handsets with Opera Mini in the second quarter, Opera said.
