NBCU-IVIL: Not Just For Women

I wrote about this a little yesterday but it’s worth another look. NBC Universal is buying a “top women’s online community” and “one of the nation’s most successful online destinations for women” (wording direct from the press release), a good fit for promotion, marketing and programming given that NBCU skews female. But NBCU will be looking, as Beth Comstock, president of digital media and market development, put it during the press call, “beyond just women” when it comes to iVillage.
