Bigfoot Networks Gets $4 Million For Anti-Lag Online Game Hardware

Austin, TX-based technology firm Bigfoot Networks, which is planning to market a hardware PC card which is intended to reduce in-game lag for online video games, has received $4 million in first round from Venio Capital Partners.

According to the firm, it will bring to market the world’s first Gaming Network Accelerator card, which will allow online gamers to play games with less lag. The company hopes to show off beta versions of the card at several trade shows in 2006.
