So here’s a funny story: ignorant journos from NYT did three stories last week hyping up three rather mid-level announcements from three big media companies on the mobile content front. And this week, it does a story saying how hype about these mobile content services might be unjustified. The three announcements were from News Corp (Mobizzo), CBS’s news subscription service, and MTV’s deal with Sprint. Now NYT’s enlightened reporter Richard Siklos thinks it seems premature to set the buzz for wireless at anything but the low setting. Well, dear Sik, ask your fellow colleagues to read before they write…then you would not have to do this story.
